Current Temporary Itinerary
This charming tour begins near the city wall, at Largo Ator Dias. Where our local guides will introduce you to the rich history of Gaia and Porto, as well as their main points of interest.
From there, we will head towards Gaia, crossing the iconic Ponte do Infante, one of the several bridges that connect the banks of the Douro River.
During the tour, listen to captivating curiosities and fascinating stories about the emblematic bridges that connect Porto to Gaia. Highlighting their relevance both in the architecture and in the history of the region.
Our next stop will be at the stunning Serra do Pilar Monastery, one of the most privileged places to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the city of Porto and the Douro River.
We will admire the Jardim do Morro. This open-air space invites you to relax and admire the incredible views of the city, with highlights including the riverside area and the historic center of Porto.
After this stop, we head down towards Ribeira de Gaia, famous for its Port wine cellars and proximity to the river. This is the perfect place to admire the panoramic view of the opposite bank and take magnificent photos of the city, with its colorful little houses and labyrinthine streets rich in history and culture.
In Vila Nova de Gaia, take the opportunity to visit a Port Wine Cellar and learn all about the centuries-old winemaking process (Port wine tasting included).
Before concluding the tour, we will stop to admire the most impressive views of Gaia and Porto, highlighting their beautiful hills and the grandeur of their historic buildings.
We will end the tour in Gaia, next to the cellars, after an unforgettable experience exploring Porto and Gaia.

Previous Itinerary
We start the tour crossing the streets of the old city of Porto and its ancient walls, admiring the São Bento Train Station and Porto’s Cathedral.
Meanwhile, pass through Avenida dos Aliados and Carmo & Carmelitas, towards to Clérigos Tower, one of the most emblematic monuments of the city, and continue to one of the most beautiful bookstore in the world - Lello Bookstore.
Continue along Rua Taipas, to Miragaia and Ribeira with its magnificent views of the Douro River.
Afterwards, ride back to the Meeting Point* or, if selected, let your tour expert drop you off back to your accommodation.
Vila Nova de Gaia is famous for its great Port Wine Cellars, which is your next stop. Take the opportunity to visit a Port Wine Cellar and learn all about the centuries-long process of winemaking (a Port wine tasting is included).
