Porto Tuk-Tuk City Tour + Visit to the Port Wine Cellars

We travel along the lively Santa Catarina Street, the commercial heart of Porto, where you will find the iconic Majestic Café, a historic café known for its elegance.

The route then takes us to the majestic Avenida dos Aliados, the city’s main central avenue, surrounded by impressive buildings and home to the Porto City Hall.

We enter the Ceuta Tunnel, which leads us to the area of the Santo António Hospital, a remarkable example of neoclassical architecture.

We climb up to the charming Virtudes viewpoint, one of the best panoramic spots in the city, where you can enjoy breathtaking views over the Douro River and Vila Nova de Gaia. Here you will also find the Portuguese Centre of Photography, housed in a former historic prison.

The route continues towards the vibrant Gomes Teixeira Square, also known as Lions Square, passing by the legendary Lello Bookstore, considered one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world.

Later, we head towards the Carmo Church and the Carmelitas Church, separated by the famous narrowest house in Porto.

The route then takes us to the impressive Clérigos Tower, a Baroque icon of Porto, known for its remarkable height and architectural elegance.

We descend towards the former Jewish Quarter of Porto, a historically rich area, continuing along the picturesque Flores Street, where the traditional Porto houses reveal the authentic charm of the city.

The route takes us to the Ferreira Borges Market, visible from the tuk tuk, a historic building with unique architecture.

After this memorable journey, we return to the initial meeting point or to your accommodation if this option was selected (subject to availability).

From here, you may continue your experience with a visit to one of the renowned Port Wine Cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia.
